Summer Love❤️

Hey guys!

It’s been months since I’ve written about anything! And I’m back again to show you one of my favorite summer looks!

In the above pictures, I had styled myself in a very chic and classy yellow top. This top is perfect for summers as it is made up of very light and 100% organic cotton, and it actually makes you feel weightless! The bell sleeves made the look even more fluid and didn’t make me feel the heat at all! Moreover the flower print and the light yellow colour seemed apt for a summer look!

To match such a blouse, one can wear black/blue jeans or jeggings. However I wore knee length black culottes to beat the heat and experiment a little 😉

I kept my makeup very simple and subtle for the look, and wore cute pearl danglers. Lastly I made a long & high chic ponytail for the same! 🙂

I hope you all liked this outfit! More to come soon! For updates and pictures, follow me on Instagram and WordPress 🙂

Back to the 90’s!

Hey Guys!

‘Tis truly the best time of the year! Not only because of Christmas but as well as the ongoing wedding season here in India!

Recently I wore an orange and pink 90’s style glam suit for a wedding function. The experimental raiment looked absolutely stunning and I’m really excited to share it with you guys!

As you can see in the pictures above, my orange embellished kurti had holographic sequin work on it, along with golden embroidery around the edges. It also had a slight hint of a magenta pink shade which matched the dupatta. I also decided to keep the length of the Kurti around the knee level, to maintain the vintage aesthetic of the attire. Such a suit can be be worn with a pair of leggings per say, however I wore it with a patiala Salwar, keeping it authentic and elegant at the same time. I further matched my nude heels with the outfit.
For the accessories, I had put on very subtle and beautiful golden earrings, which had pearls droplets in them.

For my makeup, I chose a rather extra and pretty style for the wedding. I wore a smokey eyeshadow along with a winged eyeliner and some heavy mascara. I also highlighted my face around my cheekbones, center of my nose and on the upper lip. Lastly I applied a lavender-pink shade of lipstick. (Check my Instagram for brand links). For the hairdo, I curled my hair into lovely ringlets using a hair straightener and some hair gel to keep it intact all through the night!

I hope you all loved this look! Stay tuned for more ethnic fashion coming soon!

Glitter and Gold

Hey guys!

Wishing all a very Happy Diwali 2017! And I hope all of you had an amazing day!

This year on the occasion of the Festival of Lights, I decided to style myself in the this perfect glam ethic outfit that fits perfectly with the mood of the affair.
As you can see in the pictures above, I wore a green sleeveless center-cut embellished Kurti, along with a plain golden Lehenga and Dupatta, all that I recently purchased from various brands (listed in the credits). I chose to wear a lehenga instead of a simple pair of leggings as the skirt adds a fuller look to the outfit and makes the look more fluid and unconstrained.

The KurtiLehenga style has been rocking fashion shows to local weddings and hence it seemed to be ultimate trend to try on this festive season. Moreover, the bright colour of my Kurti, light and dark green, also went well with the glitter and gold. Along with this, I matched a pair of golden glitter heels for the day.

For my makeup, I tried to keep the look very subtle yet bold. I had put on Golden and bronze eyeshadow, and lined my eyes with a black liner and mascara. For my blush, I used a light pink shade and also highlighted my cheeks, nose and upper lips in a gold shade. I further applied an orange-pink shade lipstick to complete the makeup look. (Check the name of the products in the credits below!)

I also accessorized myself with a few golden bangles, nothing too fancy for the occasion. Lastly, to provide finishing touches to the attire,  I styled my hair like the usual, Open straight hair, and parted onto one side.

Simply Ethnic!

Hey guys!

I recently shot these pictures and I’m really excited to tell you how you can too get this fabulous and easy ethnic look!

I would like to start off with my outfit, as you can see in the photographs, I styled myself with a white cotton base Kurti, which had some lovely golden design work on it. I then matched the same with my black tights/ jeggings. Further, I wore black platform sandals to finish the outfit part.

No traditional attire is complete without accessories! And keeping that in mind, I had put on a pair of beautiful golden earrings along with a black tassel bracelet in my left hand.

To provide finishing touches to this simplistic look, I wore subtle makeup, which  included my everyday black eyeliner, blush in a light pick shade, and a nude colour lipgloss. However, you can always try different ways of applying makeup, and I’m sure that this type of outfit would definitely go along with it!

Don’t forget to Tag me on Facebook or Instagram and show me how this worked for you!

I celebrated my 16th Birthday last week and I totally had a blast! I really love the outfit I wore and it took me more than 5 days to actually find the perfect dress 😀

As you can see in the pictures, I had styled myself in a yellow Lace dress which looked absolutely perfect for a party. The colour of the same gave a typical summer touch to my attire. Adding to that, the lace part of the dress is also trending now days, and I personally love the elegant off shoulder style of this dress. I purchased the dress from a Cover Story store at Worldmark mall, Aerocity. You can also find more lovely options on their website and can also buy their clothing from online shopping stores (Check out the Link below).

As my dress was yellow/ mustard in colour, I matched it with a pair of nude heels that I bought from a Venus Steps store (To shop, check out the links below). Such a dress can also be worn along with light or dark brown heels. The nude shade of my heels looked fabulous with the attire and thus was perfect for the occasion.

To finish off this look I accessorized with a pair of long golden earrings or danglers. A copper shade of earrings can also look good with a yellow dress, but as this dress seemed to compliment with the golden shade of the earrings, I decided to go along with the golden ones.

Lastly, I got my hair cut that day only so I had my hair already styled for the party. My haircut is a simple Razor cut and it looks beautiful with open straight hair.

Thank you so much for all your wishes, and don’t forget to follow the blog for the latest updates!

Stay elegant!

Today’s blog is about something very special to me. I can’t believe its been a year to Ariana Grande’s marvelous album, Dangerous Woman and to celebrate the same I’m going to portray my Ariana Grande inspired look!  The Dangerous woman album has more than 6 million streams on spotify, with fabulous songs like Moonlight and Side to Side ft. Nicki Minaj, and is honestly the best album I’ve ever heard!

In the following pictures, I have styled myself in a typical Ariana Grande inspired outfit. This entire year, she wore long and baggy pants which is now her ‘signature outfit’ to award shows, TV shows and other interviews. Similarly, I wore a white lacy crop-top along with a pair of black pants. I also matched a pair of black heels with this. To keep the look classy and formal I tried to restrict my outfit to the monochromatic scheme. Coats and tuxes can also be worn if required.

It is quite obvious that I styled my hair up in a high ponytail like Ari, and straightened my hair a bit to give it a finer touch.

For my makeup, I decided to keep it simple and sassy by applying cat eye style winged eyeliner, some rose blush and a pink girly lipstick. A dark shade plum colour lipstick like Ariana’s MAC Viva Glam collection would also have looked pretty with the attire!

Ariana is a total style queen, and has never disappointed me with either her singing skills or her fashion sense!

I hope that Ari creates more and more music like the Dangerous Woman Album and that her ongoing tour is a super hit!

Hello People!

I got these pictures clicked when I attended a wedding function recently. As you can see, I styled myself with something fresh and new. On that day, I wore a pink and beige coloured Kurti- Lehenga, which looked super elegant as both the Kurti and the Lehenga complimented each other fabulously. Even though I purchased a dupatta along with the garment, I decided to keep the look simple and subtle and thus didn’t wear the dupatta along.  I had further put on golden heels that totally matched with the attire.

The earrings that I wore were very colourful and bright and were of a golden metallic shade. Finally to give finishing touches, I paired the look with a golden- silver bangle which gave out a very good traditional impression.

For my hair and makeup, I decided to leave my hair open and parted it to a side (you can choose whichever side looks better on your face type). I had put on a golden glitter eyeshadow, some pink blush and a nude pink lipstick. I wanted my look to be simple and girly, but you can always go for darker eyeshadows and lipsticks to give your makeup a bold touch.

Lots of love to all my followers for such a positive response!

Stay elegant!

Holi Makeover✿

Hello people!

So I’m finally back to blogging as my exams are over now. And these exams were the best exams that I’ve ever given in my life till now. But unfortunately, I couldn’t play Holi properly due to my busy schedule, but I somehow managed to play enough for writing a blog about it.

This year too I wore some old clothes, because well I can’t tolerate to see my new and expensive clothes turn into a mess. (Most of you would agree to that :*)

As you can see in the pictures, I styled myself with a blue coloured kurti, and a pair of old Zara jeggings. With that, I had put on a pair of black flip-flops and with this I was ready to play holi with my friends and family. I avoided wearing any accessories or jewelry because they’re too kind of precious to me and they would’ve easily gotten coloured permanently and hence would corrode.

To make my simple and easy look even more elegant, I made this wonderful hairstyle, called the ‘alien princess space pony’. It’s just a simple braid in the centre of the head, which is further taken back into a ponytail.

For you to recreate this look plus the hairstyle, I’ve added a few links which you can check out below.

Wishing all a very happy and colourful Holi, and I’m sure you all must’ve had an amazing time!

Stay Elegant!

I am pretty sure everyone must’ve had a rocking New Year party last night! I did as well and shot these pictures right before going out.

New Year parties are always filled up with joy and excitement and like always I had to choose a glamorous and spot-on outfit. This time I decided upon wearing something shimmery, but which gave out a very subtle impression. As it was a night celebration, the colour I mostly wore was black whereas the golden was a relief in the monochrome.

Coming on to the outfit now, last night I wore a golden glitter choker top which looked very pretty and fancy for a night out. Along with it, I had put on a high waisted plain black skirt and wore sheer stockings beneath it. I matched my black boots such an attire.

To give these clothes a finish, I popped on my black leather jacket which looks good with literally everything!

Accessories can be worn according to the outfit and the metallic shade in the clothes. As my top already had a choker, I didn’t feel the need to wear a necklace. The only accessory I had put on was a pair of elegant golden earrings.

So guys, this was what I wore for the New Year eve party, and I hope all of you also commenced 2017 looking flawless!

Once again,A very Happy New Year!

Stay Elegant!
